Free Resources: Clothing Fold References

To help me with my comic artwork, I’ve been creating a comprehensive reference guide for different types of clothing. Its always good to have a photographic example of what you’re trying to draw, but hunting these down can be a pain!

Here’s the first four samples I’ve created – a shirt, jeans and a hoodie. Feel free to download these and use them as you need. No credit necessary, though if you do use them, feel free to leave a comment – that’s always nice!

These are mostly created for cloth fold reference – I wouldn’t rely on them for anatomy too much – the distance from the camera means there’s a lot of perspective distortion!
